USSD codes allow you to quickly check your mobile number and access various phone functions across different carriers and devices[1]. These codes are short strings typed directly into your phone’s dialer, followed by the call button, to retrieve the information instantly without needing internet access[5].

To check your mobile number using USSD codes, use the following codes based on your carrier (India):

  • Airtel: *282#
  • Vodafone Idea: *111*2# or 1311#
  • Reliance Jio: *1#
  • BSNL: *222#

Simply open your phone’s dialer, enter the relevant code above, and press the call button. Your mobile number will appear on the screen[1].

For Sunrise (Switzerland): Dial *122# and press the call button to display your own mobile number. Note that this may not work on Apple devices[7].

General Codes Useful On Most Phones:

  • Display IMEI number: *#06# (works on almost all devices)[3][4][6]
  • iPhone Field Test Mode: *3001#12345#* (advanced info including SIM and network details)[2][5]
