Log onto https://ufiling.labour.gov.za/uif/.
- Click on check my balance.
- Follow the instructions as they appear on your screen.
- Enter the Captcha number displayed on the screen.
- Then proceed to enter your UIF Reference Number.
How long does it take for Paymaster to pay UIF?
3 to 4 weeks
One should wait 3 to 4 weeks after submitting the claim, before expecting a payout. If it takes too long to receive the claim, contact the UIF office for details and reasons for the delay. Delays can be caused either by the applicant or the administration, and may be between a few weeks, and up to a few months.
How long does it take for UIF money to reflect in my account?
Payments can take a few days to reflect in the bank account from the date of payment reflecting on the TERS portal. If the payment was intended to go directly to your personal bank account, it is possible that it has been rejected by the bank because of incorrect banking details.
How do I check my payment history on uFiling?
The details of all electronic and manual payments are reflected on the Payment History Page. The status listed next to each payment will update to “PAID” once the transaction is cleared. Select “Employment” on the left and click on “Employee Declaration Status” to view detail of all your historical contributions.
