Is NSFAS application for 2024 open?
The 2024 NSFAS applications are set to open in November 2023 and will close at the end of January 2024. This is great news for students who are looking to apply to college or university in 2024, but who are otherwise unable to afford it.

Owing to phishing threats, NSFAS had to put in place additional security measures to protect the system from potential fraudsters. As a result, the system upgrade caused delays in disbursing funds to universities. However, NSFAS is still on track to disburse allowances to students on the 1st of November 2023.
