There is no VodaPay USSD code. VodaPay’s official FAQ states that you cannot use USSD for VodaPay; the wallet works through the VodaPay app. If you see a “VodaPay USSD code” elsewhere, treat it with caution.
What You Can Do With VodaPay

How to Use the USSD Service
VodaPay has no USSD service to use. To use VodaPay:
- Download the VodaPay app on an Android (4.4 or later) or Apple (iOS 9 or later) phone.
- Register in the app; VodaPay is open to customers on all networks in South Africa.
- Use the wallet and services from inside the app.

Fees, Limits and Availability
- VodaPay states there are no monthly fees for digital wallet holders.
- Data used in the app is free for Vodacom customers; customers on other networks pay data costs in third-party stores.
- There are four wallet tiers (Entry, Lite, Essential and Pro); the FAQ does not list the limit amounts.
Troubleshooting and Official Alternatives
- No data? VodaPay cannot be used over USSD; use Vodacom’s USSD menu for network tasks or your bank’s USSD menu for payments.

- Dial the code yourself from your own phone. Never dial a code someone sends you by SMS, WhatsApp or social media.
- Never share a PIN, OTP or voucher PIN with anyone who contacts you, even if they claim to work for the provider.
